It’s dancing once more! On Friday evening “Let’s Dance” went on stage and provided entertainment. Mathias Mester in particular impressed the jury and the audience.

His appearance on “Let’s Dance” triggered great enthusiasm at the jury panel: The short athlete Mathias Mester (35) achieved 21 jury points together with his dance partner Renata Lusin (34) – the highest score of the evening. Before the dance couple brought a cha-cha-cha to the song “Giant” by Calvin Harris (38) and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man (37), Mester emphasized: “I want to show that dancing knows no bounds.”
He did it. “This man has power, this man has rhythm in his blood,” enthused juror Jorge González (54) following the dance. Motsi Mabuse (40) also agreed: “It’s all on the right track.” And Joachim Llambi (57) was also impressed: “I think it’s great when there’s someone who knows that the show only works if he attacks and has fun.” Presenter Janin Ullmann (40), model Cheyenne Ochsenknecht (21) and circus artist René Casselly (25) also received positive jury reviews.
Lilly zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg is out
Lilly zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (49), on the other hand, danced out. She was the first prominent participant to leave the RTL dance show this year. The 49-year-old had to leave the dance floor on Friday evening following two episodes. “But it was fun,” said the princess. Her cha-cha-cha with dance partner Andrzej Cibis (34) on “Waiting for a Star to Fall” by Boy Meets Girl initially received eleven jury points. Together with the votes of the spectators, that was not enough to get through to the next round.
“Let’s Dance” made a conscious decision to offer entertainment
The conflict over Ukraine was also discussed in the live broadcast. One does not want to close one’s eyes, said moderator Daniel Hartwich (43) – “especially in a show where traditionally many people from Russia and Ukraine take part.” This program also includes people whose families are directly affected. However, a conscious decision was made to offer entertainment that evening.
Actor Hardy Krüger Jr. (53) had tested positive for the corona virus this week and therefore had to skip the dance show. “He’s fine and we hope he’ll be back next week,” said RTL in Cologne on Thursday. Several stars supported their loved ones, including Luca Hänni (27) and Oliver Pocher (44). (SDA)
