Classes for schoolchildren and students on financial security are held as part of the International Financial Security Olympiad, which is held annually. This year schoolchildren and students from 15 countries will take part in it.
“For the guys, winning the Olympiad is a great chance to fulfill their dream and enter a specialized university without exams, and for the state, they are professionals in the economy and the financial sector,” said the Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
In 2023, the lessons are devoted to financial security on the Internet. The children are explained what personal data is and are introduced to the rules of digital hygiene. As part of the lesson, they are invited to take part in the International Financial Security Olympiad.
The main prize for winners-schoolchildren is the opportunity to enter universities without budget examinations – members of the International Network Institute, and for students – to master’s and postgraduate studies.
Registration for the qualifying round of the Olympiad will open on April 17, and the final will be held on October 2–6 at the Sirius Educational Center in Sochi.
