At the federal level, the Brussels list will be drawn by Elisabeth Degryse, current vice-president of the Christian Mutuality, and Pierre Kompany, now a Brussels deputy. It is Ismaël Nuino, current president of “Engaged Generation” (the young people of the party) who will occupy the first place of substitute.
The head of the European list will be Yvan Verougstraete. Today vice-president of the party, he has experience as an entrepreneur. He was elected “Manager of the Year” in 2019 as CEO of Medi-Market.
A sequence of announcements
Previously, Les Engagés had already announced the arrivals of Olivier de Wasseige (ex-CEO of the UWE and head of the regional list in Liège), Lyseline Louvigny and Yves Coppieters (defector from the MR and epidemiologist as the leading duo in Brabant Walloon to the federal government) or even Jean-Jacques Cloquet (notably ex-CEO of Charleroi airport and head of the Carolo list in the Walloon Region). On Wednesday, we also learned that Marie Jacqmin (coordinator of “Engaged Generation”) will take the list to Huy-Waremme for the regional elections.
