Lenzerheide: Kira Weidle “in good spirits” again after a serious training fall from Crans Montana

“But I’ve made good use of the last few days, I’ve had intensive physiotherapy treatment,” Kira Weidle continued.

The fourth in the Olympics is looking forward to the race in Lenzerheide. She said she had “never ridden there. The World Cup final was planned there last year, but was canceled due to the weather. So the route is new territory for me.”

Weidle was injured last Friday in a major fall in training in Crans Montana and therefore skipped the first descent on Saturday. Despite her injuries, she started on Sunday, but only finished 25th.
