Lenovo ThinkPad X13s World’s First Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 Laptop

The world’s first Windows 11 laptop equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 is finally born, the ThinkPad X13s just released by Lenovo at MWC. In addition to supporting 5G connections, its long use time of up to 28 hours is also its selling point. Lenovo also uses environmentally friendly materials, such as recycled magnesium metal to make the body, and using low-temperature welding technology can reduce carbon emissions by 35%.

The Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 used by the ThinkPad X13s is a 5nm process processor designed for Windows laptops, equipped with up to 32GB LPDDR4x RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD storage, its 13.3-inch screen resolution is WUXGA, and it has low power consumption including 400 nits 3 different screen configuration options including low blue light. The body is equipped with two 5MP lenses, one of which is an RGB lens. The fuselage has a built-in 49.5Whr battery and has two sets of USB-C 3.2 Gen2 ports.

Lenovo offers a version equipped with the Snapdragon X55 5G Modem, allowing users who need frequent connections to connect to 5G networks through eSIM or nano SIM, and also supports both sub-6 and mmWave frequency bands. The laptop measures 298.7 x 206.4 x 13.4mm and weighs 1.06kg. The ThinkPad X13s will be available in May this year, priced from 1,399 euros (equivalent to HK$12,316).
