Last Friday (8), Lenovo made the new ThinkSmart Bar 180 official, in partnership with Jabra. The solution focuses on small and medium-sized meeting spaces. Plus, it combines a smart video bar with the Lenovo ThinkSmart Core and Controller for complete, smart room integration.
The bar uses video and audio streams with Artificial Intelligence resources, for collaboration that has greater fluidity and inclusion. Along with the Bar 180, Lenovo also confirmed support for Windows Autopilot for the entire portfolio of devices in the ThinkSmart line.
The new product offers a 180-degree field of view, achieved through a system of three front cameras. There’s also 4K panoramic resolution and real-time video autofocus, as well as world-class audio capabilities and built-in intelligence. The system contains microphones to identify voices of up to ten meeting participants in a room, for live transcription applications.
In total, there are three configurable video modes. Smart Zoom allows an ideal view for meeting participants, with framing of everyone present and dynamic adjustment. The Virtual Director focuses on the active speaker and changes the focus to another person as the conversation progresses. Finally, Dynamic Composition provides better context by automatically detecting people in the room and prioritizing recent speakers.
Prices and availability
The ThinkSmart Bar 180 will be available on Lenovo’s official website in the country in the first quarter of 2024, for a suggested price starting at R$16,000 for the camera alone. The complete room kit, with the Lenovo ThinkSmart Core and Controller, will cost from R$40,000.
This is not the brand’s only recent arrival in the country. It is worth remembering that Lenovo had announced its new gaming notebooks for Brazil at the end of November.
