Lenovo announces four new gaming laptops: the Legion 7 and 7i and the Legion Slim 7 and Slim 7i.

Lenovo announced four new laptop models in its gaming laptop line, the Legion 7 et 7i, designed for gamers who demand superior gaming performance, and the Legion Slim 7 et Slim 7ifor those who want to play games but also use it for daily tasks.

The Legion 7 and 7i incorporate a 16-inch screen whose panel supports three possible options: WQXGA (2560 x 1600) with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, WQXGA (2560 x 1600) with a variable refresh rate between 165 and 240 Hz, and a WQXGA (2560 x 1600) miniLED with a refresh rate of 165 Hz.

These new portable computers are equipped with the “software Tobii Horizonwhich promises a more immersive experience for gamers, and Tobii Awarewhich uses a smart sensor to improve user security, privacy and well-being.

These devices can be configured with processors 12th Gen Intel HX-series or AMD Ryzen 6000HX. Additionally, the PCs allow users to choose between two graphics cards: Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and AMD’s Radeon RX 6850m. Lastly, they feature RGB lighting, a 99.99 watt-hour battery, and an FHD webcam with noise-canceling software.

Both PCs are equipped with the Lenovo Legion AI (Artificial Intelligence) Engine 2.0, an engine that adapts to each game to try to offer the best performance by recalibrating itself in real time. Also, their fan blades are 67% thinner than the previous generation.

The Legion Slim 7 and Slim 7i models also feature a 16-inch screen and a panel that supports the same three configurations as the Legion 7, with which they also share the 99.99 watt-hour battery and the battery power system. the noise canceling FHD webcam, but without RGB lighting.

The Legion Slim 7 and Slim 7i offer two alternatives for processors: Intel’s 12th Gen H-series or AMD’s Ryzen 6000HX. Additionally, the user can choose between Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3070 and AMD’s Radeon RX 6800s graphics cards.

The company recalled that all of its Legion PCs come with a pre-installed app called Legion Arena which acts as a “hub” to centralize all the user’s games, as well as a gateway to online stores and platforms.

The Legion 7 and 7i should be available in July. The former is expected at a starting price of 2,599 euros, while the latter is expected at a starting price of 2,599 euros.

The Slim 7i will arrive a month earlier, in June, at a starting price of 1,999 euros. Finally, the Slim 7 will arrive in July at a starting price of 1,899 euros.
