As the “Standard” newspaper reports, the case concerns an alleged violation of a cease-and-desist agreement that was concluded with the Bohrn-Mena couple. The penalty is being appealed.
Essentially, the matter revolves around the fact that the activist couple had been accused of enriching themselves through their own charitable foundation. According to the cease-and-desist declaration, this accusation did not come from Schilling but from her lawyer Maria Windhager, who found “sufficient factual basis” for the claim.
The couple took action once morest this with an execution request, which the district court granted. Windhager will fight this execution. According to the settlement, Schilling has not made any further statements, as stated in a statement by the Greens.
Windhager, in turn, informed the court regarding her view of the case and explained the individual facts that would be involved. During the proceedings, lawyers explained their legal opinion: “That is her right and her duty as a lawyer.” Therefore, there was no violation of the settlement.
