It is rumored that tea with lemon poses a great danger to the health of bones and joints, and this was denied by Dr. Hani Al-Anani, a consultant orthopedic surgeon.
Anani pointed out that there is no practical evidence proving that tea with lemon is harmful to the health of the bones of the body, describing the common belief as a “myth”.

A consultant orthopedist confirmed that tea with lemon is a good drink for human health, but it should be consumed in light of the following guidelines:
Drink lemon tea in moderation.
Balancing the amount of tea and lemon when preparing.
Do not add sugar to tea with lemon, rather it is preferable to replace it with a teaspoon of bee honey.
– Drink tea with lemon two hours following eating, so that it does not interfere with the body’s absorption of iron.

According to Food.ndtv, lemon juice does not negatively affect bone health, on the contrary, its vitamin C plays a major role in relieving arthritis and associated symptoms, such as pain and swelling, due to its antioxidant properties.

While tea, researchers conducted a study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, on 1037 people, aged 30 years and over, to see its effect on bone health.
The study concluded that people who drink tea regularly have bones, specifically the spine, thighs and neck, with a high density of minerals, according to the Harvard Health website.
The research team found that the fluoride and flavonoid compounds present in abundance in tea are the reason for the increase in bone mineral density in the study participants.
