LELE BLADE is one of the most talented artists on the Neapolitan urban scene and is now ready to return with an unreleased single: “CONTIGO” (Warner Music Italy) out everywhere on Friday 6 September. The song is the first single from his next studio project.
In recent years, the rapper has demonstrated his ability to oscillate between raw rap and more melodic and conscious songs in which he has demonstrated a great capacity for contamination and experimentation.
“CONTIGO”, in fact, is a track in full LELE BLADE style, in which Neapolitan blends with Spanish, in a perfect mix between melodic parts and tight bars, all accompanied by the delicate voice of Laura Pizzoli (author/session musician who sang the sample of Sonando Contigo).
An excerpt of the song was leaked yesterday on the artist’s TikTok channel (https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGeTofByd/) and immediately aroused great curiosity among fans.
Alessandro Arena, this is Lele Blade’s real name, was born in Casoria, in the province of Naples, on June 6, 1989. Always passionate about hip hop music, he was part of several collectives, such as Ufo Rap Team and 365 Muv, but achieved national success within the duo Le Scimmie together with Vale Lambo. In 2018 his first album outside of a collective was released, “Ninja Gaiden”, consisting of 13 tracks and several featuring, including Geolier, CoCo and MV Killa. In 2019 he signed with BFM Music, Luchè and Chiummariello’s label and released his second solo album, “Vice City”, produced by Yung Snapp and with other important collaborations including Gemitaiz and Luchè himself. In June 2021 the single “Just for Fun” feat. Yung Snapp (gold), first for Columbia Records Italy/Sony Music Italy, and which anticipates the album “Ambizione”, released in September of the same year and certified gold, which contains the song “Extendo” feat. Paky, also gold (data released by Fimi/GFK). In 2022, “Extendo RMX” feat. Paky, Shiva and Geolier and “No Joke” feat. MadMan arrive, which are added to the tracklist of the latest album, anticipating the repack, which comes out in May of the same year. Lele Blade is also one of the members of the SLF collective (Solo La Fam), with whom he released “WE THE SQUAD VOL. 1 (Summer Edition)” (Columbia Records Italy/Sony Music Italy), a new version of the first recording project of the Fam, which contains the platinum single “Travesuras”. On July 7, 2023, “Lose Control” arrives, the first to bear the signature of Warner Music Italy.
