A kidnapping? “A one-month-old boy has disappeared with his stroller,” said a police spokesman. “He is traveling with an adult – but was expressly not kidnapped.” The boy is no longer with the guardians.

When asked whether the baby was in danger, a police spokeswoman said: This cannot be assessed. But the fact is: The police also moved to the shopping market on Georg-Schumann-Strasse.

︎ According to BILD information, there should have been family disputes before. The police have not yet released any further details.

The baby has been wanted since 5 p.m. – the police also use dogs, the spokeswoman said. “We’re following up on any leads.”

The search continues into the night. As is usual in cases of missing persons, hospitals, taxi drivers and the federal police responsible for train stations were informed. Video recordings from trams would also be checked. (mdy, rgz)
