Construction has started on the new company building of the family-run company Lehner Lifttechnik in Peuerbach, which was founded in Neukirchen am Walde in 1991. There, the company had reached its infrastructural limits due to constant sales growth and increasing number of employees. “Our goal is to be able to move into the new building in the second half of 2025,” says Managing Director Christian Lehner.
The company, which employs 25 people, specializes in the sale of stair lifts, which are primarily retrofitted in private and public buildings and ensure accessibility. Every year, around 5,000 lift systems are exported to around 400 partner companies in more than 80 countries.
The new building, which is around 2500 square meters in size, will be located near the Heuberger Reisen company. The family business is using wood as a raw material for the new building, and a photovoltaic system with 136 kilowatt peak will be installed on the roof. Lawn stones will be used for the parking areas in order to seal as little surface area as possible.
