Nintendo and LEGO continue their hugely successful interactive toy collaboration on the LEGO Super Mario series, a series that was born out of the pandemic but never stopped expanding, and now we know what their next big step is: another gaming phenomenon, when It came to our attention again while we were all at home. We’re talking about LEGO Animal Crossing, the new series that Nintendo surprisingly announced via this short video on social media: The video shows the following eight confirmation characters from left to right. Rosie Rabbit Marshal Capa Fauna Julian Isabel Tom Nook All of these are in their Lego doll versions of course. The game mechanics, if they exist beyond the customization and construction of each collector’s village or island, are currently unknown, but you can see the game’s typical small trees and, of course, flying gifts tied to cloud balloons Come and fly.
