The ruling coalition in Senegal claimed victory on Monday in the majority of Senegalese departments, following the legislative elections on Sunday. It would thus benefit from a narrow majority in Parliament. A success disputed by the opposition which speaks of “prefabricated majority”. These legislative elections are a test for the opposition, which wishes to curb the ambitions of President Macky Sall.
