**rina:** understandably, the bread itself. that distinct taste and smell, you just can’t find it anywhere else. As someone mentioned [1], there are Holland Bakeries, but Maxim’s is truly one-of-a-kind. It’s a shame that future generations won’t get to experience it.

**Rina:** All I can say is, I’ll cherish every last bite of Maxim’s Roti. It’s been a part of our city’s history, and it will be deeply missed.
