After an absence of about 6 years, the Egyptian star Hala Sidqi returned to stand again in front of cinema cameras through the movie “Legal Shoulder”, which she began filming, Monday, in Cairo in front of a large number of actors, including Sayed Ragab, Sherine Reda, and Amr Abdel Jalil, And Muhammad Radwan, Intisar, and Karim Afifi.
The Egyptian star revealed, in an interview with Asharq Al-Awsat, that the comic situation around which the film revolves encouraged her to accept the work, pointing out that the role that she will play attracted her, as it brings her back to the cinematic championship, while refusing to disclose its details, but she indicated to the participation of a number of guests of honor; Among them are Yousra, Elham Shaheen, Hassan Al-Raddad, and director Enas El-Degheidy. The film is written by Ahmed Ramzy and Hisham Helal.
Sidky confirmed her confidence in director Sameh Abdel Aziz, and said that she is seeking this period to focus on cinema that she missed years ago, and that she has two other films that are currently being prepared for her to start filming successively.

The movie “The Last Rooster in Egypt”, which she previously starred in in 2017 opposite Mohamed Ramadan, was her last work. She also presented important cinematic works in her career, including “The Escape”, “The Heart of the Night”, “Alexandria New York”, and “Oh A world, my love, and it is a mess.
On the reasons for the recent absence of the Egyptian artist from the cinema, Sedky said: “This was not my desire; I did not find anything motivating me to return.” He continued: “I have a cinematic history that I am proud of, and I cannot risk anything less than it; I have worked with great directors who have added a lot to me; Among them is Atef Al-Tayeb, may God have mercy on him, who believed in my talent and presented me in two distinguished roles in the films “The Escape” and “The Heart of the Night”; And I kept waiting for works of the same level to be offered to me until I returned to the cinema.
With regard to her winning a unanimous Special Jury Award from the Cairo Festival for Drama for her role in the series “Jaafar Al-Omda” a few days ago, Sedky said: “I am happy with the award that I won unanimously from the jury,” noting that she won the Audience Award since the beginning of the series, in addition to to be honored by several countries; Among them are Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Lebanon, stressing that the number of views of “Jaafar Al-Omda” exceeded 4 billion, “a number that no artwork has achieved before.”

Sidqi praised her work with the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, and the director, Mohamed Sami, saying: “Ramadan is a talented, smart, and committed artist who never came late for filming. Sami is an author and director who I prefer to work with; He is keen to present the artist in his best condition.
And on “Jaafar Al-Omda,” Sidqi said: “It has not been finally decided yet whether the second part of it will be presented in the coming Ramadan, or it will be postponed.” Follow-up: “I learned that director Muhammad Sami has almost finished writing half of his episodes.”
And she pointed out that she had not yet contracted to work on the second part, pointing to what director Mohamed Sami mentioned about the need to “present a distinguished work when filming begins, whether we are able to film it and show it during or after Ramadan.”
