As Enoé de Jesús Correa Manco, 65, was identified by the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, the person in street condition found dead last Tuesday in Carrera 21 with Calle 23 in Armenia.

This older adult suffered from a respiratory disease and, apparently, due to the weather conditions of the nights of recent weeks and sleeping on public roads, his health condition worsened to the point of death.

Correa Manco was recognized in the sector where he was found dead as ‘Agüita’ and he will be remembered because he always tried to help people in the area to earn a coin and thus get food.

This citizen did not have identification documents and different forensic procedures were necessary for his identification.

The call, now, is to Quinchía, Risaralda, where he was from, so that his relatives can contact the offices of the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences in the city of Armenia, at 18N street number 14-42 or by phone 6067495860 to claim his body and give him his due funeral honors.

The facts

Enoé de Jesús Correa Manco was found dead in Armenia at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, July 19.

This person was lying on the floor at the corner of Calle 23 and Carrera 21, however, passers-by were struck by the fact that he did not move, which is why they tried to check whether or not he was asleep.

After several calls, the citizens decided to notify the police patrol of the quadrant of the area to come to the scene. Indeed, minutes later the uniformed officers verified that he had died.
