Lefay Resorts & Residences has been appointed by developer Aminona Luxury Resort and Village SA (“ALRV”) to manage the new luxury Resort & SPA located in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.
The new Resort will mark Lefay’s expansion abroad, adding to the brand’s Italian portfolio a new entity in Switzerland and launching a development network of the group’s properties in Central Europe.
The village of Aminona is located in the municipality of Crans-Montana, a place long appreciated for its charming environment and famous for being one of the most prestigious ski resorts in Switzerland.
Nestled in the tranquility of the alpine forests, the project overlooks the breathtaking panorama of the most glorious mountains, facing Monte Rosa, the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc and is connected to the ski lifts which will allow direct access to the slopes. At an altitude varying between 1,500 and 3,000 meters, the Crans-Montana ski area offers breathtaking views on its 140 kilometers of marked slopes facing south.
The new Lefay Resort will have 106 suites (from 41 to 147 m²) and 12 private chalets with luxury services. The award-winning SPA Lefay will cover an indoor area of more than 4,000 m², with several indoor and outdoor pools, relaxation areas, an adult-only area and 21 treatment cabins. The wellness area is themed around the original energy concept of the Lefay SPA method, which combines classical Chinese medicine and Western scientific research to fully regenerate body, mind and soul. A unique wellness philosophy recognized by the most influential wellness experts and organizations for its life-changing power.
Lefay Resort, offers different options for catering, designed according to the pillars of Lefay Vital Gourmet, such as the Mediterranean diet, the use of seasonal ingredients. A careful selection of regional Italian delicacies and a preference for local organic suppliers.
The design of the hotel, supervised by renowned firms Callison RTKL and IB+, is in line with Lefay’s new vision of luxury and Italian style. It embodies the trend of emphasizing the fusion of natural elements, while maximizing the potential of the magnificent location and creating the highest standards in design and hospitality. The interiors, designed by MKV, showcase the use of natural materials, such as rough stone, textured wood and bronze metal, and create a rich backdrop, resulting in a high-end, luxurious finish that will stand the test of time.
In line with Hotel Lefay’s commitment to sustainability. The project favors renewable and clean energy sources such as geothermal energy, photovoltaic panels and biomass.
