(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Jang Bo-in = Professional soccer K League 2 Chungnam Asan climbed to fifth place with a thrilling comeback victory.

Chungnam Asan won 2-1 in the home match between Gyeongnam FC and Hana One Q K League 2 2022 Round 36 at Asan Yi Sun-Shin Sports Complex on the 31st by scoring an own goal and a dramatic winning goal from Lee Sang-min.

Asan, South Chungcheong Province, who has won two consecutive victories, has accumulated 46 points (12 wins, 10 draws and 10 losses) and finished fifth in the K League 2 playoffs (PO).

Gyeongnam, which played one game less (with 44 points, 12 wins, 8 draws and 11 losses), finished 3 straight wins and moved down to 6th place.

Gyeongnam was the first to open the goal.

Seo Jae-won, who received Thiago’s pass in the 12th minute of the first half, drove the ball to the right side of the penalty arc and shook the net with a sharp left-footed shot. This is Seo Jae-won’s debut goal in the K-League, born in 2003.

However, Gyeongnam did not keep this goal for long. In the 29th minute of the first half, Gyeongnam Kim Young-chan cleared a cross by Song Seung-min from Asan Chungnam, leading to an own goal, and the game returned to the beginning.

Asan, South Chungcheong Province, who was lucky, tried to score an additional goal, but in the 43rd minute, Song Seung-min’s right-footed surprise shot from the penalty arc was canceled by Gyeongnam goalkeeper Koh Dong-min.

After a 1-1 balance until the end of the second half, Chungnam Asan overturned the game with a ‘theater goal’.

In the 49th minute of the second half, Lee Sang-min’s strong left-footed shot from a distance was sucked into the goal and confirmed the victory for Chungnam Asan.
