In an interview with YTN, Lee Sang-bo denied the drug allegations and was reported to have submitted a medical certificate to the hospital saying that taking drugs related to depression caused a misunderstanding.
According to the report, Lee Sang-bo has been taking antidepressants and tranquilizers since 2019 due to severe depression and anxiety. “After my father passed away in 2009, my mother and older sister also died in an accident, which made my depression worse,” he said.
