After not being registered to attend V.League 2023, Lee Nguyen returned to the US and found a new job while training at a club.
Dallas Texans has announced the recruitment of former US midfielder Lee Nguyen to the club’s coaching staff. The player born in 1986 will work here while continuing his training with a B.
Dallas Texans is the team that Lee Nguyen started in 2004. He also studied football here since childhood. This team was founded in 1993. Representatives from the United States consider this to be the return of a legend of theirs.
Currently, Lee Nguyen is studying with a B in coaching. Before joining the Dallas Texans, Lee Nguyen also worked as an assistant on the Washington Spirit women’s team. He also decided to retire at the beginning of 2022 but changed back to Vietnam to help the Ho Chi Minh City club successfully stay relegated.
Previously, Lee Nguyen and Ho Chi Minh City club made efforts to negotiate to close a new contract. However, no contract has been signed and Lee Nguyen is not on the list of registrations for phase 1 of V.League 2023 of Ho Chi Minh City. However, Lee Nguyen affirmed that he is ready to return to Vietnam to play in the future if given the opportunity.
