Actor Lee Jong-suk said of his lover IU, “The funniest thing in the world.”
On the 22nd, the magazine Esquire released an interview and pictorial of Lee Jong-suk.
Lee Jong-suk said that he thought he should treat people more like an adult when he was in his 20s and 30s.
He said, “Didn’t he give you a lot of strength at that time?” When asked regarding his lover IU, he said, “The existence of that friend itself becomes a will and strength.”
He continued, “We’ve been friends for quite some time, and he’s the funniest friend in the world.” He expressed his affection for IU, saying, “I received a lot of comfort from him as a friend during the troubled times I felt when I was in my 30s.”
He also confided, “When that friend tells me, ‘I’ve become a lot more mature now’, I want to become a more mature person. I want to become a much better human being than I am now.”
Meanwhile, in December of last year, Lee Jong-suk and IU acknowledged the dating rumor, saying, “After being friends for a long time, they are continuing to meet with a good heart.”
