Lee Jong-seop of the National Defense “I do not visit the mission, which is a countermeasure… Confirm with the employee at the time”

On the 17th, the Democratic Party of Korea intensively inquired at the National Assembly National Defense Committee regarding the suspicion that ‘Cheonggong’, known as a fortune teller, toured the Army Chief of Staff’s official residence in connection with the selection of the presidential residence.

Rep. Seol Hoon of the Democratic Party said, “It is a situation where many people believe that it will be true,” regarding the suspicion of drilling. Rep. Kim Young-bae of the same party said, “It is a problem that the truth is revealed by itself when the entry and exit records are confirmed.” Justice Party lawmaker Bae Jin-gyo also asked a similar question.

Regarding this, Minister of National Defense Lee Jong-seop said, “The army reported to me the result of confirming to the person concerned that there was no such fact. . It is known that the ‘participant’ mentioned by Minister Lee was a worker at the time when Chun-gong visited the office of the chief of staff. In response to continued inquiries from opposition lawmakers, Minister Lee replied, “They say they are not involved in the shamanism, but there is no reason to confirm it with others.” Some Democratic Party lawmakers raised their voices while taking issue with Minister Lee’s response.

On this day, Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myeong also wrote on Facebook that it is a “country of sorcery” and that “now South Korean policy makers have to ask the prosecution or the sky teacher.” This was interpreted as meaning that party lawmakers were encouraged to raise suspicions of perforation.

However, there are concerns within the party that “it might become the second drinking party in Cheongdam-dong” as the Democratic Party is focusing almost ‘all-in’ on the perforation allegations. A senior member of the Democratic Party said, “I heard that visiting the official residence of the chief of staff is not a hole,” and said, “I don’t know what to do with it if it is not a hole following holding a hearing at the National Assembly.”

Previously, the Democratic Party, led by Rep. Kim Eui-gyeom, raised the suspicion that Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon and others enjoyed drinking and dancing late at night in Cheongdam-dong, but it turned out to be false when the person in question told the police that “it was a lie.”
