Lee Jae-myung’s popular theory was that ‘the party leader is Lee Jae-myung anyway’ was strong.

Candidate Lee took first place with 74.81% of the votes, far exceeding the majority in the Gangwon-Daegu and Gyeongbuk regional primary for the Democratic Party’s election of the next party leader.

The members of the Rights Party gave overwhelming support to Lee, who said he would create a strong Democratic Party to check the Yun Seok-yeol administration.

“Thank you for your support, more than I expected. I still have a lot of schedule left, so I will do my best. Thank you.”

Following this candidate, Park Yong-jin, who received 20.31% of the votes, came in second, and Kang Hoon-sik, who received 4.88%, came in third.

Candidate Park Yong-jin, who advocated moderate expansion, put in check, saying that if Lee became the party leader, the Democratic Party would be on the path of satanicization.

“(Incheon) Gyeyang has a lot to say regarding the self-nomination. However, we have never heard any explanations regarding that.”

Candidate Kang appealed to party members for support, saying that he would create a young, authoritarian party.

“Changes and aspirations made Hoon-Sik Kang the nominee for the party leader, and the momentum of Jin-Jin has put me in this position as the candidate for the party leader in my 40s.”

But neither candidate made a difference.

Candidate Chung-rae Chung, who is classified as a ‘pro-Lee Jae-myung-gye’, also took first place with 29.86% of the votes in the election for the highest committee held along with the party’s representative election.

The Democratic Party plans to continue its circuit primaries today in Jeju and Incheon.
