The reason Lee chose Busan as the New Year’s agenda is interpreted as the strategy of emphasizing the image of an ‘economic president’ and winning support in Busan, where traditionally conservatives are strong, in order to win the presidential election.
Candidate Lee also announced the fourth real estate pledge following the easing of estate and acquisition taxes on Facebook.
