“Even though I can’t say that I loved my brother (husband), I never killed my brother (husband), who treated my child like his own and truly loved me until the end.”

On the morning of the 30th, in Incheon District Court No. 324, a trial was held for Lee Eun-hae (31, female) and accomplice Cho Hyeon-soo (30, male), who were arrested and charged with the so-called “valley murder” case. Lee also denied the allegations in his final statement.

Lee, who stood up as he unfolded the paper he had written in advance at the detention center for his final statement, cried, “I have been criticized for my bad past behavior.

Next, Lee mentioned the deceased victim Yoon Mo (age 39 at the time of his death). He said, “Until now, my life deserves criticism and I have had a bad relationship with my brother, but I have been doing well for 9 years.

Lee said, “Although I can’t say that I loved my brother (husband), I never killed my brother (husband), who treated my child like his own and truly loved me until the end. It was not planned and it is really true that my brother can swim.”

Mr. Cho, who was indicted with Mr. Lee as an accomplice, also denied the allegations by the prosecution. Mr. Cho said, “I was being investigated by the prosecution for this case, and I fled because of the burden of a coercive investigation.” “Isn’t it?” he conciliated and pressured him.”

He added, “I feel sorry for the accident of my brother (victim Yoon), but I never planned to kill him.”

● Prosecutors “Perfect crime plan disguised as an accidenter”

The prosecution requested life imprisonment for Lee and Cho, respectively. In addition, they requested the court to order the installation of a location tracking electronic device (electronic anklet) for 20 years along with probation for 5 years each.

The prosecution emphasized, “The defendants planned the perfect crime by disguising the accident.

“Lee committed a brutal crime while exploiting the victim by labeling him as husband,” he said.

The prosecution explained the reason for the request for life imprisonment, saying, “Heavy punishment is necessary to protect the nobleness of the right to life.”

The sentencing hearing will be held at the same courthouse at 2 pm on the 27th of next month.
