Leclanché postpones the publication of its results to July 31

The specialist in electrical energy storage solutions Leclanché has once once more postponed the publication of its 2021 results. Six Exchange Regulation has given the green light and set a deadline until July 31 for the Yverdon company.

In its press release on Thursday evening, Leclanché claims to have “worked out and negotiated” with various stakeholders the conditions that will allow it to ensure continuity of operation until June next year.

The main shareholder SEFAM confirmed its commitment to convert a large part of its debts into shares and this well before the deadline, specified Leclanché.

Furthermore, as announced at the beginning of June, Leclanché is still working on the full financing of its commercial activities until 2024. Thus, the due diligence process for the merger of the E-Mobility division with an acquisition company Special Purpose (Spac) is complete.

The current stock market situation prompted the company to seek other strategic investors, namely ‘two key industry players’ for an investment in E-Mobilty. The final form of investment in this division is expected to be acquired by December 2022.
