Against a direct opponent for the play-in in the West, the Lakers lost again this Sunday evening. A disappointment against the Pelicans, while Frank Vogel’s men had a lead of up to 23 points before collapsing. Not so surprising, especially when you know that LeBron James suffered an ankle injury.
Absence to come for LeBron James?
On the ground after a rebound battle, the Akron native took a few minutes to get up. The fans were quickly reassured, since the interested party was able to return to the match, and even finish it. Nevertheless, the pain continued, and LeBron’s comments to the media are worrying.

The ankle must be swollen, but the fact that LeBron managed to finish the game is quite reassuring. Still, the Lakers could put him to rest in the coming days, especially since the main concerned has to manage knee pain. An absence seems logical, even if the medical staff is waiting for a first return during the day, in order to find out more.

Knee pain, big ankle injury: LeBron James has been accumulating glitches for a few weeks. Even if he doesn’t miss any games, it seems clear that he won’t be at 100% for a while. The concern is total in the City of Angels.
