LeBron James’ son and Carmelo Anthony’s son clashed

If the NBA has as usual offered its share of highlights and suspenseful scenarios tonight, another match also caught the attention in the States. A high school game, where the sons of LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony – Bronny and Kiyan – faced off in front of the cameras ofESPN. A special moment for the King and Melo.

In February 2002, young phenoms LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony (then in high school, in St. Vincent-St. Mary and Oak Hill respectively) faced off in New Jersey in front of no less than 11,000 people. 20 years later, it was therefore the turn of Bronny and Kiyan.

In front of the eyes of their dad (and their mom), but also of Scottie Pippen or even… Kim and Khloe Kardashian, the two kids have each shown their talent on the side of Chatsworth in California. 12 points – 6 rebounds – 3 assists for Bronny James, 8 points in total for Kiyan Anthony, with in the end a victory for Sierra Canyon (the team of Bronny) 62-51 once morest Christ the King.

Some highlights of Kiyan Anthony

No doubt, this match represents a great moment for Bronny James and Kiyan Anthony given the hype that surrounded the meeting, but probably even more so for Darons LeBron and Melo, friends for two decades now.

“We met 21, 22 years ago and seeing Bronny, and then Kiyan and Bryce [l’autre fils de LeBron, ndlr], the circle is somewhat complete. The tradition continues.”
