LeBron James out minimum 2 weeks, and surely much more

We’ve been waiting all day for news from Los Angeles to find out how long LeBron James will be out due to his foot injury. News, we just had some, and the King will indeed be out for a significant period of time.

A great deal of uncertainty continues to surround LeBron James’ injury, but major NBA insiders are unanimous: LeBron won’t be seen on the court for Several weeks.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski ofESPN, James will be reassessed in a fortnight but we can expect a much longer absence. According to Shams Charania of The Athleticwe are on an unavailability period of at least two to three weeks, while Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report also talks regarding “a few weeks” on the sidelines.

To sum up, we are not regarding to see the King once more. And the Lakers’ results in his absence might determine whether James plays once more this season or not. Because if the band of Anthony Davis collapses without LeBron and has only a very limited chance of even making the play-in tournament, it’s a safe bet that James will give up on the end of season. Otherwise, if the Lakers remain competitive in a very tight Western Conference, LBJ might try to return as soon as possible.
