LeBron James and KD still leading the votes

It’s time to talk to the stars! In the first All-Star Game voting comeback last week, LeBron James and Kevin Durant dominated the debates for the team captain positions, while the fight was tight for the starting positions, especially in the frontcourt at ballast. What about today ? Come on, let’s watch it all together!

Small flashback: last week, we were talking about LeBron James and Kevin Durant leading the votes, and big duels especially on the frontcourts between Joel Embiid and Jayson Tatum in the East, Anthony Davis and Zion Williamson in the West. Announced on Twitter with great fanfare by Shams Charania, the second return of votes brings some changes.

Things to remember:

Giannis swoops down on Kevin Durant! Nets star winger sees his 120,000+ vote lead turn to around 40,000. East captaincy clearly not in play but KD’s absence won’t help the latter to redo the trunk in the classification. LeBron James is still in the lead and is heading towards the milestone of five million votes.

Exit Jojo, it is now Jayson who is in the virtual starting five of the next All-Star Game! The Celtics’ remarkable week coupled with Jay’s strong performances no doubt helped them catch up and create a 40,000-vote lead. The fight will be extremely tough between the two zozos, we will enjoy each update like a good cast of homemade Bolognese pasta. Among the guards, Kyrie Irving and Donovan Mitchell are still well ahead of the rest of the conco, the deviations oscillating a little but remaining stable overall. Note the tenacity of Derrick Rose fans, it’s beautiful.

In the West, Anthony Davis still resists Zion Williamson but the lead of the injured Lakers pivot is melting: from nearly 140,000 votes, it drops to only 44,000. Toto would do well to return to the game to show that he deserves his role as starter, especially since Zion is injured for several weeks. As in the East, the ranking of exteriors has not changed: Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic can sleep baby, they have more than two million votes ahead of Ja Morant, good third. The differences are such that apart from a big computer bug, nothing seems to be able to prevent Steph and Lulu from being in uniform in Salt-Lake City next February.

At present, the starting lineups of each conference would give:

Stephen Curry – Luka Doncic – LeBron James – Nikola Jokic – Anthony Davis

Kyrie Irving – Donovan Mitchell – Kevin Durant – Giannis Antetokounmpo – Jayson Tatum

It’s tight at the frontcourts! Who will be titular, who will have to pass by the vote of the players? The questions remain unanswered. And on your side, the scale leans more towards Jay or Jojo? And in the West, is it more Toto or Zion?
