Absolutely. The efficiency and all-around game KD exhibits are reminiscent of Larry Bird. Durant’s scoring ability, combined with his rebounding, passing, and improved defense, make him a complete player, just like Bird was. He’s developed into such a versatile offensive threat and his performance certainly helped them in the western part of the US too.

Considering the potential MVP race, how do you see the battle between LeBron and Durant shaping up as the season progresses? Which player do you think has the edge?

It’s shaping up to be an epic battle. It’s going to depend on consistency and team success. If Miami remains dominant and LeBron continues his all-around excellence,he’ll be hard to beat. If Durant keeps up his scoring and the Thunder stay near the top of the West, he’ll be a strong contender. It’s too close to call at this point. What do you, and our readers, think?
