Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said in a televised statement that the army “carried out a precision strike on the central headquarters of the Hezbollah terrorist group in the suburbs.”

According to Hagari, the headquarters is “located downstairs in a residential building in the heart of a suburb of Beirut.”

Several Israeli television channels reported late on Friday that Nasrallah was the target of the attack, while the Israeli army said in a call with AFP that “we have no comment on this matter”.
