On April 28, 2024, an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon resulted in the death of four Hezbollah members, according to security sources.

The Lebanese movement also announced yesterday that it had launched dozens of attacks against northern Israel, mostly with drones and guided missiles.
The Israeli army’s website that lists its members who are killed added the name of a soldier who “fell during an operation in northern Israel” on May 8. This is the third Israeli soldier killed in the northern part of the country this week.
Since the beginning of the war in the Gaza Strip between Israel and Hamas on October 7 the Israeli army and Hezbollah exchange fire daily.
The Lebanese movement, which says it is acting in support of Hamas, mainly targets Israeli army positions near the border. Israel is responding with raids against targets deeper and deeper into Lebanese soil and launching targeted strikes against Hezbollah operatives.
According to newsbeast, over the past seven months, at least 399 people—including 257 Hezbollah fighters and 77 civilians as well as at least 11 Hamas fighters—have been killed in Lebanon, according to an AFP count.
On the Israeli side, 14 soldiers and nine civilians have been killed, according to an official count.
