Under the title “The Red Sea, a New Vision”, Lebanon is competing with two films out of 8 from different countries in this international film festival, which kicks off at the beginning of next month.
The first film, “After the End,” directed by Nadim Mishlawi, transcends the dimensions of the political scene in Beirut to glorify the city’s history, culture, and architecture.
The second is entitled “Octopus” by Karim Kassem, which sheds light on the repercussions of the catastrophic explosion in the port of Beirut, and tries to reveal the details of this catastrophe.
