The deputy head of the Hamas movement abroad, Musa Abu Marzouk, revealed that he asked “critical questions to Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, including: How do you explain the entry of this amount of weapons into the camp?”

He said in an interview with Al-Jadeed: “It is known that the weapons found with the “outlaw” fighters were sold to them by National Security, including the two main warehouses of National Security in Ain al-Hilweh.”

Abu Marzouk considered that “the direct responsibility of the Lebanese state is to arrest criminals and maintain security inside and outside the camp.”

He pointed out, “Hamas is not part of the clashes to give guarantees, and it is possible that National Security or others will fire bullets and violate the agreement.”

Abu Marzouk stated, “General Security has made an effort since the days of Major General Abbas Ibrahim to contain the groups inside the camp, whether the League or the Mujahideen Movement, and to make them real tools in controlling the security of the camp and the neighborhood.”

He added, “It is our pride to withdraw the settlement project with the Zionist enemy and the resistance project and replace it with the resistance project,” and concluded: “I hope it happens.”
