The Lebanese Al-Ansar defeated its counterpart, Shabab Al-Sahel, in the 8th round of the top six clubs of the First Division.
Al-Ansar regained the top spot in the Lebanese Football League, today, Sunday, by defeating Shabab Al-Sahel with two goals to one, at the end of the 8th round of the top six clubs of the First Division.
Al-Ansar raised its score with this victory to 32 points at the top of the Lebanese league standings, 2 points ahead of Al-Ahed Al-Thani and 4 points from Al-Nijmeh Al-Third, and the balance of Shabab Al-Sahel froze at 20 points in fourth place.
Al-Ansar opened the scoring through Ahmed Hegazy (D45 + 2), who followed a rebound from the coastal goalkeeper Ibrahim Al-Miqdad, following Ali Tanish, “Al-Sisi” shot.
Al-Sahel equalized (D54) through Andrew Ikevi, and Al-Ansar came back and scored the winning goal through Ahmed Hegazy (D64), by mistake, so the match ended with a score (2-1).
