“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs records a significant number of cases where citizens of EU member states were detained, investigated, or even prosecuted in the country on the basis of artificially constructed suspicions or accusations. According to the Ministry’s assessment, the risk of further similar incidents remains significant and also applies to citizens of the Czech Republic,” the department pointed out.

The ministry recommends avoiding places where more people gather and to refrain from taking video recordings of demonstrations, as well as members of the security forces or government buildings.
