Modern Express (Reporter Yu Luwang Crescent) May 30, 2022, is the first anniversary of the young pioneers of Xin’an Primary School in Huai’an City, Jiangsu Province receiving the reply letter from General Secretary Xi Jinping. Recently, they issued an initiative to “follow the footsteps of Grandpa Xi to learn the history of the party” to the young pioneers across the country. The Young Pioneers of the Experimental Primary School in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province responded to the initiative as soon as possible, followed the footsteps of Grandpa Xi, visited the Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall, told stories of redness, and inherited the spirit of redness.
In 1921, a small boat, a short meeting a day, a big party was born. In the Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall, the young pioneers told the story regarding the red boat.
“Although the red boat is small, it has a lot of energy. A very important meeting was held here.” The young pioneers introduced that in the summer of more than 100 years ago, the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held in Shanghai. Later, the meeting had to be interrupted due to the sudden intrusion of spies and French patrols. At that time, sister Wang Huiwu from Jiaxing proposed to transfer to Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing and rent a boat to continue the meeting, and the representatives agreed unanimously.
On the South Lake, in the Red Boat, the meeting lasted for regarding 7 hours, and the great Chinese Communist Party was officially proclaimed!
“In 2017, Grandpa Xi came here to pay his respects to the Red Boat of Nanhu Lake and visit the Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall. He said that the development of his career will never end, and the original intention of the Communists can never be changed.” At the scene, the Young Pioneers shouted a sonorous vow, ” Little Red Boat realizes his original intention, or he must not forget his original intention, strengthen his ideals and beliefs, and strive to be a good boy in the new era.”
