A Positive started the production of the kits that will compose the pilot project of the Learn Connected. This initiative is being organized by the technology company together with Eace (Administrator Entity of Schools Connectivity) and aims to deliver information technology items to public schools.

After the contract is signed, the equipment production process will begin. The pilot phase is yet to be finalized, as the installation of the necessary infrastructure for the arrival of the internet is being carried out. For now, 95% of schools have already completed this step.

This same pilot phase is intended to include two cities in each of the five regions of Brazil, with a total of 177 schools. In addition, 6,241 items will be provided, divided into 287 projectors and 287 projection screens, in addition to 276 carts for storing and recharging equipment.

The total number of notebooks for teachers is 463, while students will receive 4,928 educational laptops. All items in the kits will have a serigraphed seal referring to the Aprendiz Conectado project. After all, they can only be used in schools that are part of the action. Luis Vissoto is Commercial Director at Positivo Tecnologia and commented on the news:

Our devices were carefully developed to meet the computing needs of the schools covered by the Connected Learning. Being part of this initiative is a source of great pride for us precisely because of the alignment between the project’s objective and our purpose as a Company. We work to make people’s lives better and smarter with the use of technology

The first city to receive the equipment will be Baía da Traição, in Paraíba, according to forecasts. In approximately 30 days, the other municipalities will be:

Cavalcante – GO Entre Rios – SC Santa Luzia do Itanhi – SE Silva Jardim – RJ

It is worth mentioning that there are cities that will receive the equipment in two stages: the first in 30 days and the second in 45 days. They are: Berilo (MG), Coronel Domingos Soares (PR), Pau D’Arco (PA) and Espigão do Oeste (RO). Finally, the municipality of Gaúcha do Norte (MT) will be the last to receive. Paula Martins is CEO of Eace and explained the situation:

The equipment delivery process is quite complex due to the logistics and activation of the equipment. It will be a major operation and will also take into account the school vacation period, which varies from region to region.
