Use Permissions Manager on Samsung smartphone and control your device privacy
BDG Studios and OnePoll surveyed 1,000 Gen Zers across the US to learn how they deal with privacy and security issues on their smartphones. It was found that 69% of respondents feel that their private or personal conversations are being overheard through their mobile devices.
Wherever you go, it often feels like you’re constantly exposing your data. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to protect your information while you’re enjoying your Internet browsing experience.
Firstly, if you are scared by the idea of someone listening to your conversations, make sure you adjust camera and microphone access in your smartphone settings.
Another tip is to access the Permissions Manager, which allows you to see which applications can access your data. Plus, you can easily update your settings for seamless control over what gets shared across your apps.
Finally, regularly update your passwords and do not use personal information to compose your security passwords. In the survey, almost half of respondents said they use personal life details (such as date of birth, for example) in passwords. Another 40% said they use the same password on multiple accounts, which is not recommended.
