How to make orange sponge cake is very simple, with just 5 steps below, you can complete it right away:

Ingredient:

– 90 grams of plain flour

– 5g grated fresh orange peel

– 3 chicken eggs

– 65g sugar

– 60 grams of orange juice

– 40 gr of cooking oil (I use coconut oil)

– 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Perform:

Step 1: Separate the yolks and whites.

Step 2: Put 25g of sugar in the yolk bowl, stir well, then grate fresh orange peel + oil and squeezed orange juice, stir well, then sift flour and mix well.

Step 3: Add the lemon juice to the whites using a mixer for about 1 minute on medium speed. Then add 1/2 of the sugar to increase the beat speed for 40 seconds, finally add the rest of the sugar and beat for another 90 seconds, the whites will be stiff, lifting will have a peak.

Step 4: Put 1/2 of the whites into the yolk bowl, use a spatula to gently fold-even before adding the remaining whites and mix. Pour this mixture into any aluminum molds or molds you have. Place the mold on the tray, gently drop the cake tray on the table to let the dough release air.

Step 5: Preheat the oven. Then adjust the temperature to 130 degrees Celsius. Put the cake tray in the middle of the oven for 35 minutes, then increase the temperature to 150 degrees Celsius and bake for another 15 minutes until the cake is cooked and golden. Turn off the oven, take out the cake tray and drop it on the table.
