Revaluation of social benefits
Last year, the Ministry of Public Accounts declared a loss of 5.5 billion euros caused by social assistance fraud compared to 4.4 billion in 2021. Ceilings not to be exceeded to benefit from the annual payments of the CAF
For a family with two dependent children, you must not exceed 71,194 euros for tranche 1. For tranches 2 and 3, the limit is 94,893 euros. Then, for those who have 3 dependent children, the ceiling is set at 77,126 euros for tranche 1. It is 100,825 euros for tranches 2 and 3.
Then, for a family with 4 children, tranche 1 must not exceed 83,058 and 106,757 euros. Finally, for each additional child, it will suffice to add 5932 euros for the three tranches.
End of family allowances
You must know that family allowances concern people with at least two dependent children under the age of 20. They are paid monthly and their amount depends on several parameters. Indeed, it will be necessary to take into account the resources, the number of dependent children and their respective ages.
As of the month in which the required conditions are no longer met, the payment of the allowances will cease. This corresponds in particular to the 20th child’s birthday. Finally, as regards the request, it is made with the CAF of the municipality or the MSA.
