Technical leaks revealed the specifications and settings of the “Galaxy A53 5G” phone from the South Korean company, “Samsung”, which is scheduled to be launched in the next few days within the company’s devices for the middle and upper-middle class.

And the leaks, published by reliable technical sites on Twitter, indicated that the new phone is expected to come without a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

This is in contrast to the Galaxy A series models known by the company, which feature a dedicated audio output jack.

Specifications and settings

In terms of specifications, reports revealed that the Galaxy A53 runs Android 12 with the well-known Samsung One UI 4.1 interface.

The device, as usual for Samsung phones, features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a high resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 20: 9, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Reports indicated that “Samsung intends to launch two versions of the phone; The first is powered by an octa-core processor from the powerful “Snapdragon” chipset from the American company “Qualcomm”.

The other version works with the well-known “Exynos” chipset of eight cores as well (expected to be “Exynos 1280”), according to the same source.

The leaked list also shows that the phone’s processor works in conjunction with a random access memory (RAM) of at least 8 GB, with an internal storage of at least 128 GB, along with support for a microSD card (up to 1 TB).

The phone, which leaks indicate is similar in design to the “Galaxy A52” phone, which was launched by “Samsung” last year, includes stereo speakers that support the “Dolby Atmos” feature.

The phone provides wired audio output only through the built-in “USB Type-C” port, and it has an IP67-certified dust and water-resistant structure.

In the past, Samsung abandoned the 3.5 mm headphone jack from its flagship phones, similar to the American company Apple.

However, the company now appears to be taking the same step for the relatively affordable “Galaxy A” series.

According to reports, the Galaxy A53 comes with connectivity options such as support for 5G networks, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1 and NFC.

The new device included many sensors, such as the accelerometer, ambient light and gyroscope.

It also contains a 5000 mAh battery, and weighs 189 grams.

Camera

Leaked images show that the Galaxy A53 has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f / 1.8 lens slot, a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f / 2.2 lens slot, along with two 5-megapixel sensors with f / 2.2 lens / 2.4.

The phone has a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f / 2.0 lens slot.
