The brand Vivo will hold a special event on April 25, 2022 where it will announce its X80 series. A number of rumors are circulating on the web suggesting the presence of another device. It’s actually the Vivo S15e, which will likely be the first model in a new S15 lineup. What does this phone offer us?
A 90Hz AMOLED screen
Before these leaks appeared, Vivo has already announced some key features of the S15e. According to the Chinese manufacturer, its brand new smartphone will have a 4,700 mAh battery. This will support a 66 W fast charging solution. The front will house a dedicated 50 MP front camera for videos and selfies.
Recent rumors presume that this variant would sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. The panel would display a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. However, the front sensor would be 16 MP and not 50 MP as the brand said. Either way, we hope other informants will shed some light on these conflicting details in the days to come.
The Vivo S15e launched alongside the Vivo X80?
This smartphone would have a fingerprint reader integrated into the panel. The Exynos 1080 SoC would pair with an 8GB RAM in terms of performance. This will adopt LPDDR4X technology. The firm uses the UFS 3.1 standard for internal storage. A built-in space of 128 or 256 GB would be allocated for you to save all your personal data.
On the back, we find a photo configuration with triple sensors. It features a 50 MP primary camera, a 13 MP ultra wide-angle and a 2 MP macro lens. The phone is said to boot Android 12 in conjunction with the brand’s Origin Os Ocean interface. Coming to market, the S15e will come in three color options, either a peach, blue, or black variant.
This model is rumored to debut on April 25, 2022 alongside the Vivo X80 series. The Chinese manufacturer will therefore take advantage of this event to present its brand new range, the Vivo S15.
Conclusion
Thanks to these recent leaks, we were able to discover the complete specifications of Vivo’s new S15e smartphone. Despite the confusion regarding the front camera, its spec sheet looks impressive. For the moment, we do not know if the phone will leave China to join other countries.
