After three releases that achieved huge sales, Apple will unveil the fourth generation of the cheap iPhone SE series, and several leaks have been published recently that gave us an idea of what this version will be.
Design like iPhone XR
Instead of sticking to the traditional design of the old iPhones, the upcoming iPhone SE will adopt the same design as the iPhone XR.
It is worth noting that the current available versions of the iPhone SE have the same design and mold as the iPhone 8, with the Home button built into the fingerprint sensor.
The fourth generation of the upcoming iPhone SE will come in the same mold as the iPhone XR with a 6.1-inch screen and a notch at the top of the screen, and this will necessarily entail removing the Home button and relying on Face ID facial recognition technology.
Other leaks stated that Apple may not rely on Face ID technology, and instead, Apple may add a fingerprint sensor in the screen lock button on the side, as it did previously with the iPad Air and iPad mini.
Technical Specifications
As for the internal specifications, it may not differ much from the current version where the processor is as A15, the random memory size is 4 GB, and the storage capacity starts from 128 GB instead of 64 GB with support for 5G networks.

The iPhone 14 will be announced during the first half of 2023 and if that doesn’t happen we will have to wait for a whole year until the first quarter of 2024.
