Almost a year ago, THQ Nordic and developer Black Forest Games announced Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed, a remake of Destroy All Humans! 2 in 2006, hoping to build on the success of the 2020 remake of the first game in the series.
The game reportedly recently had an hour-long closed beta test, following which someone claiming to have played it shared images of the game. The images don’t show much: one shows the game’s main menu, another shows an in-game newspaper clipping in the series’ recognizable style, and a third shows main character Krypto speaking to a holographic projection of his commander, Orthopox-13.
The images show subtitles and the in-game interface in Russian. Meanwhile, according to an insider, the game is currently not too well optimized. Of course, as with any such leak, take it with a grain of salt for now.
Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed will release for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC sometime this year.
