One leaker published on its closed Twitter account photos of components that appear to be supposedly from the rumored virtual/augmented reality headset from Apple. Information indicates that the responsible team has been pressured to launch it later this year — probably in June, at WWDC23 — amid a sea of speculation regarding the product that involves even the second generation of the device.
As shown the MacRumors, three of the published images show cables that appear to be positioned at the bottom and top of the headset, around the eyes. In addition to possibly giving clues regarding the size of the device, we can see that one end of the cables has a space for an element to be inserted, while the other has connectors, which must connect to another part of the device.
The image below shows other parts, with three sensors/cameras and a connector at one end. It’s hard to say exactly what these components do, but the leak is especially interesting as it’s the first concerning the headset with images and something more tangible than text descriptions.
According to AppleInsidero leaker that published these images has a good track record, despite having the Twitter account closed, preventing the direct dissemination of its publications. Although the components do not reveal much, this might be the beginning of a wave of leaks, especially if the headset starts to be manufactured. It is at this stage that most of the product photos appear before the official launch.
Much has been and is being said regarding Apple’s supposed VR/AR headset. For almost a year, its release date has been speculated, as well as its system, resources and possible independence from the iPhone. There has even been a competition for the best concept of the device.
