Huawei has confirmed its intention to launch the Huawei Mate 50 series soon, and now leaks have appeared that reveal details of the new phones and a 12.4-inch tablet coming from Huawei.
According to the sourceThe group will consist of three phones: Huawei Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS, and it will carry Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, however, 5G connectivity may not be available in all phones.
Where the Mate 50 Pro Standard will get 4G connectivity only, while the Pro and RS versions will get 5G connectivity.
Huawei Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS will also get 12 GB of RAM, and internal storage capacity of 128, 256 and 512 GB.
What is the standard version of the phone, it will get 8 GB of access memory, and only two options of storage capacity are 128 and 256 GB.
Huawei Mate 50 phones will miss Leica lenses
Huawei recently ended its partnership with Leica, which provided distinctive imaging experiences on its flagship phones, and the German company moved to cooperate with Xiaomi to offer its imaging technologies on the second phones.
As for Huawei, the company’s new phones will lose the Leica features found in previous versions.
Therefore, Huawei will resort to adding a HiSilicon NPU to process XMAGE, an internal alternative to the camera technology co-developed with Leica.

As for the composition of the cameras, it is said that it will include a main camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels, and it will have a lens slot that narrows and expands according to the shooting conditions.
The three phones will get a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide lens, whose specifications will differ from one phone to another.
As for the front camera, the three phones will have a 13-megapixel selfie camera, and there will be a face unlock sensor on my Huawei Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS.
The three phones are expected to use 66W fast charging for the 4,500mAh battery in the Pro and RS (plus wireless charging), and 4,400mAh in the Standard Edition.
According to rumors, the Mate 50 trio will feature BOE’s AMOLED displays. The Pro and RS screens are claimed to be 6.78-inch curved and have a frequency of 120Hz.
As for the standard version, it will get a flat LTPS screen with a frequency of 90 Hz, and a resolution of 2800 x 1225 pixels.
Finally, the Huawei 50 RS will have a ceramic body as its main selling point, while the other two models will have a metal and glass body.
Fourth Edition of Mate 50 and Tablet
Besides the three flagship phones in the Huawei Mate 50 series, there is said to be a fourth device called the Huawei Mate 50E, which will use the Snapdragon 778G chipset.
The leak also shows a new 12.4-inch Huawei MatePad Pro, which is a larger version of the 11-inch MatePad Pro.
As for the launch date, the leaks point to next September 7, but the company has not officially announced the date yet.
