Ghazl El-Mahalla beat Ismaily 4-3 on penalties, following the end of normal and extra time with a draw with two goals for each team, during the semi-finals of the League Cup.
It is expected that Ghazl El-Mahalla, the winner of the Future and Enppi match in the first edition of the League Cup, will meet on the seventh of this month to determine the champion.
The goals of Ghazl Al-Mahalla were scored by Moaz Al-Hanawi and Hamid Mao, while the Ismaili goals were scored by Omar Al-Wahsh and Khaled Al-Tabris.
The two teams went to penalty kicks, which ended 4-3 in favor of Ghazl Al-Mahalla following Abdul Rahman Magdy and Ahmed Ayman missed the Ismaili players, and Khaled Sami from Ghazl Al-Mahalla missed his kick.
The formation of Ghazl El Mahalla was as follows:
Goalkeeper: Amr Shaaban.

Meeting summary.
The match started quickly and the referee awarded a penalty kick in favor of the Mahalla team following a strong intervention from Muhammad Hashem at the feet of Hisham Adel inside the penalty area, to be executed by Moaz Al-Hanawi with success, announcing the first goal in the fourth minute of the match.
In the 25th minute, a powerful shot came from Mohamed Makhlouf, the Ismaili player, from the right of the penalty area, which was fired from the middle of the crossbar.
Al-Ismaili continued to press for the equalizing goal, and a shot from Abdel Rahman Magdy, player of the Ismaili team, came from the right of the penalty area, which was removed by goalkeeper Amr Shaaban, then followed by Muhammad Al-Shami with a header from the middle of the penalty area, which was returned from the middle of the crossbar.
The first half ended with Ghazl El Mahalla advancing with a clean goal, despite Ismaili’s attempts to equalise.
The second shot began with the control of Ismaili, and a free kick came in favor of the Ismaili team from a good place on the borders of the Mahalla penalty area following an obstruction to the attempt to pass Ahmed Madbouly, and the free kick was carried out by a shot from Abdel Rahman Magdy, but it was answered from the left of the crossbar.
Omar Al-Wahsh scored the equalizer for Ismaili, in the same way as Mahalla’s goal from a penalty kick, which was calculated by the referee in the 79th minute of the match, so Al-Wahsh managed to score a tie.
In the first extra period, Al-Ismaili scored his second goal, with a shot from Muhammad Al-Shami from the left of the penalty area, which was returned from the left post.
In the 107th minute, the series of missed opportunities from both teams continued, and a shot came from Hamid Mao, a player for Al-Mahalla team, from the right of the penalty area, which was returned from the right post.
Hamid Mao scored the equalizer in the deadly time of the match, in the 119th minute, i.e. the extra second half, following a powerful shot from inside the penalty area to net Omar Radwan, announcing the second goal of his team.
